Truffles all year round
Only the best whole black winter truffles are hand-picked by our experienced staff to be packed in jars.
The Tuber Melanosporum, or fine black winter truffle, grows in Piedmont, the Apennine mountains between Umbria and Marche, Veneto and Liguria. The harvest season is from November to March.
These truffles give off an intoxicating aroma and deep flavour, perfect for those seeking a gastronomic experience out of the ordinary. Add them to pasta, risotto or meat dishes for a touch of pure elegance.
They can add flavour to hot pasta dishes such as rice, noodles, gnocchi, eggs, etc.
How to use it: cut the truffle into thin slices with a truffle slicer.
The juice itself can be used as a condiment.
Once opened, store in a cool place and consume within a few days.
