Cantina Lazzeretti was born from the dream and determination of Marco Lazzeretti, who at just 18 years old in 2001, decided to turn his vision of producing great red wines in Montalcino into reality. Shortly after, his sister Lucia joined him, sharing the same passion and commitment to the project. Today, 18 years after that "year zero," the winery has become a reference point, alongside a renowned wine shop in the heart of Montalcino. The heart of the company is Marco and Lucia, who personally oversee all phases of production, from the vineyards to managing the shop in the town center. The Cantina Lazzeretti vineyards stretch across the hills of the Val d'Orcia, on lands that once belonged to their grandfather. Years ago, an old key was found buried in this land, now carefully preserved as a good luck charm for the winery and stylized in the Lazzeretti logo. Since 2001, Lazzeretti has been producing Brunello di Montalcino, a wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of the Tuscan region, offering a unique sensory experience. Visually, it presents an intense garnet color enriched with ruby reflections, a sign of its aging and superior quality. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and varied, with notes of ripe fruit intertwined with hints of licorice, leather, earth, and aromas typical of Mediterranean scrub. This aromatic complexity reflects the depth of the soil from which it originates and the meticulous care given to its vinification. Lazzeretti made a bold bet on the land and their deep love for their roots, and they have won.
