Three Oils, Three Regions - Liguria, Garda Lake and Brisighella: a sensory journey through Italian extra virgin olive oil

An event for anyone curious to explore extra virgin olive oil and learn how to taste it, training the senses to recognise its qualities, distinctive characteristics and aromatic nuances.

Three extra virgin olive oils from three Italian areas — Liguria, Lake Garda and Brisighella in Romagna — will take us on a journey through the landscapes and traditions that give each oil its identity.

The evening unfolds in two parts: a guided introduction to sensory analysis, followed by a food-pairing experience that reveals how extra virgin olive oil can enhance ingredients and transform a dish.

Three places, three identities

Liguria — A centuries-old olive-growing tradition closely connected to the Mediterranean landscape and local cuisine. We will discover the character of the selected oil and explore how to pair it with food.

Lake Garda — A distinctive olive-growing area where the lake helps create favourable conditions for olive cultivation, offering another expression of Italian extra virgin olive oil.

Brisighella — Set among the hills of Romagna, an area with a strong olive-growing identity and a longstanding production tradition.

An evening at the Caveau dei Rolli

The tasting will take place at the Caveau dei Rolli in Genoa, an intimate and atmospheric setting for an evening of discovery, flavour and conviviality. Suitable for enthusiasts and first-time tasters alike.

Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received.

Cancellation by the participant

Cancellations submitted at least 7 days before the event starts are eligible for a full refund.

For cancellations submitted less than 7 days and up to 48 hours before the event starts, no refund will be issued. Alternatively, participants may request a credit equal to the amount paid, valid for 90 days from the cancellation date towards another event organised by La Cascina di Marta, subject to availability. Any price difference must be paid by the participant.

No refund or credit will be issued for cancellations made within 48 hours of the event or for failure to attend.

Ticket transfers

Tickets may be transferred to another person, provided the organiser is notified in writing before the event begins.

Cancellation or postponement by the organiser

If the organiser cancels the event, participants will receive a full refund of the amount paid. If the event is postponed, participants may either keep their booking for the new date or request a refund.

Allergies and dietary requirements

Any food allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of booking by emailing [email protected]. The organiser will assess whether these requirements can be accommodated.
